| That looks great - now you just need to order up some Newton door cards in a similar shade and your interior will look the business. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| Hi Andhoops - I can see why you have changed your seat (s). You have (had) the same seat coverings that we had. Every time we got in it was like being in a caravan ! Get all the seats covered in the same material and you'll be amazed at what a difference it makes. | |

| Looking good andhoops, was there much trouble in getting them to fit. I found the original seats are really uncomfortable too.

| Loving the seats Andhoops, you will notice a real difference in ride comfort. Door cards are a real bonus, we were lucky with ours, found them on ebay. Si at www.vwbusbits.co.uk has an outfit who does his upholstery, and from what I've seen (a T5 job) its pretty impressive and they will make them to your colour scheme. | |

| So - Andhoops gave me the idea and I've had quite an expensive day! - first at Danbury with the visor and cover , then on the way home from Yate (I had a biz meeting in Bristol which gave me the excuse to get up to JJ's place) I dropped into my friendly local scrap yard (just North of Shaftesbury) - and Lo and Behold 2 beautiful burgundy/red seats from a Saab 9000 - in great nick for £80 - you can imagine that my eyes virtually popped out of my head when they quoted that price - removed too!!!
Now all I have to do is fit them - does anyone have any ideas!! LOL Perhaps I should do like Andhoops and get someone else to tackle them - although I would prefer to have a god myself.
Pics coming - still have not worked out pics on here! LOL | |

| Hi Batman, if you are having trouble posting photos, look under Gallery, sticky posting photos/images. Took me a while to work it out too when I first started. | |

| Hi Peppa I know what you mean - they aren't bad at all - just that Batgirl tends to fall asleep as we bomb along and there is nothing on the current seats to stop her falling out of the seat! LOL Plus - I have that grey velour in ours - which is not very exciting or funky. And (going to sound kinky now!) I like the feel of leather ... Cheers - Batty | |

| Nice seats what a bargain, I fitted mx5 seats in mine, but I believe that the runners unbolt from the original seats and bolt onto the saab seats they are meant to have the same bolt spacing.
As I didn't go down this route myself, I'm not 100%, but it's what I read when I was looking into changing my own seats.

| Now you just need to get some matching covers for the rear seat and bed squab and you'll be sorted. Newton Commercial ought to be able to sort that for you. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |
