Mike and I are definitely up for the Halloween bash. Did you say we park our vans in the hall? Looks big enough - LOL.

Looking forward to trying a new venue and hookups for all would be great when it's going to be a bit colder.

We will probably be asked at the end of September to pay the balance of the fees for this event at this new venue.

The balance is due typically four weeks before the event - say end of Sept for now.

It's only eight weeks to go folks - scary.  

We all know that costumes feature heavily on the Saturday night over the Halloween weekend, but we thought we would extend it to Friday night this year as well.

On Friday, it will therefore be 'Onesie Night' - any style/character/animal is acceptable.

On Saturday, Halloween itself, well you know what is required of you.  

Have started to look at the programme for the weekend too - more later.

We have just had a great (dry and sunny with no rain) week in the Forest of Dean - in a cabin this trip - but we did pop into the campsite and will provide some up dates shortly.

Having popped into the campsite last week we can now provide you with some additional information at this stage - more to follow in due course.

Payment of Balance
This is normally four weeks from the booked date, but as there may be some late attendees they have agreed to reduce this down to two or three weeks - will advise an exact date nearer the time.

Camping together
We have been allocated the Motor Home area - hook up locations 11 to 18 on the map below. There are however 10 hook ups in this area which means we shall all be nicely contained within one area, with a kitchens and showers nearby. It is also only a short walk to our hired room (by the Sports Hall on the map below).

Rock Pegs
We are in the gravelled Motor Home area which means we can avoid wet grass and mud, but if you are putting up an awning or pop up tent you will need to use rock pegs. We have permission to put up a gazebo or event shelter in the middle of the area too if we desire.
