Ok so here's some pics from the start and along the way, until my GoPro ran out of power!

First rest stop:

Where just as we were leaving, someone had a puncture .....

Back out on the ride, it got crowded when the roads narrowed:

Some poor chap wasn't feeling too good and an Ambulance crew were called:

Meanwhile, back on the ride ...

Things started getting countryfied!



... and then the GoPro ran out of juice!  So we were left with regular snaps at the stops:

Then some minutes later, on top of the world, at the top of the Beacon!!

Then it was a relaxed cruise downhill into the traffic of Brighton centre and along to the Finish Line on Madeira Drive!
Swiftly followed by beers and tucker!!!

The total has gone up since we completed the challenge: now standing at £1615!

Whoever 'Phil' is .... THANK YOU .... you have taken our funds raised total to £1745!!! Incredibly generous.

Phil just collected sponsor money from my guys and gals in the office, he shouldn't take all of the credit LOL. I'll give him a slap on Monday..
He might sign up for the ride next year, he last did it with me in 2012..

I know that there is a bit more sponsor money to go on as the lady who lost her husband last year and in whose memory I was riding collected some in the charity shop she works in. It will get us even closer to £2k which is fantastic.

More donations have come in. We're now on a staggering £1910!!!!
