Brazilian VW Bay Bike To Brighton - Sunday 21st June

With half term beckoning I might fit a few rides in between the school reports.

Did we make any progress finding a supplier for Team BrazilianVWbay. I found this on the web and could see us in a good looking version like the Subaru top!!!

If we wanted to look at an alternative so we were all kitted out as a team we could look at simple T-shirts.... I used The T-shirt Studio to produce a Hoodie for Jo's birthday.. For £15 quid plus a small delivery charge you can get a T-shirt printed front and back. Here is an example of the many options that are available.






Let me know what your thoughts are Cycle Team and we can discuss further during the sleepover weekend but pretty sure we'd need to place any order early June to ensure they come back in time for the ride... I'm happy to co-ordinate the whole thing and place one bulk order... Steve

They don't do bike shirts Abs - already asked.

Do you need bike shirts though? When we do Mcr to Blackpool for Wigan Hospice, they supply T shirts fit everyone.

I think we should now look at the T-shirt option personally..

The Kitegirl is at the London to Brighton ultramarathon this weekend, foot power only. No bikes allowed

Im up for a T shirt at least we may be able to find each other in the scrum. I don't fancy following the backsides of random mamils for 50 miles

We'll sort it over a few beers at the Sleepover guys , had the hoodie back from that supplier in a few days so we should still have loads of time...

Hello team BraziBay. First opportunity to catch up with all your comments. Not very used to posting - MrHH is left to this normally!

Been following the beginners training that BHF suggest - it is ramping up; having to switch rides around due to Kombi S/over. Happy to talk T Shirts then, and buzz balls...

Can I point out that MrsHH's 'buzz balls' are an edible energy supplement and not a medical condition caused by a bike saddle.

It did wonder.....

Well that's ended that element of intrigue! The 'buzz' is reference to bee pollen, nothing more sinister. They seem easily digestible on the move, packed full of organic dates, goji berries, mulberries, pumpkin seeds, cashews, the list goes on. I will bring a few to the sleepover and you can decide for yourselves. We will definitely need to refuel...

And much healthier than the Jelly Babies and Wine Gums I'd planned on snacking on..

Looks a good buy and plenty of room for a spare inner tube and a few snacks if required. Nothing worse than running out of water, apart from a puncture lol...
