Just wondering if anyone has any tips on covering existing door panels (not installing Newton Commercial panels)? I have my sufficiently thin and stretchy faux-leather material, my contact adhesive and a mental plan for cutting slits around the edges to allow neat folding over. Colin is a bus, so I plan to start on the less conspicuous panels at the back!

Yep, we did exactly that with some Orla Keily wallpaper then sprayed them with clear varnish to make them waterproof.

TimV posted a how to video on here for installing Newton Commercial door cards, it's worth watching for info on taking existing cards off etc.

Thanks - yes I saw the video. Always reassuring to see something being tackled for real before jumping in oneself!
