Kontinental KOMBI Kaper 2016 - bound for Biarritz!

Just called Jean and paid the deposit whoop whoop...

We're booked and deposit paid, arriving on site July 26th, leaving August 11th, taking the softies' route from Portsmouth to Bilbao and back. The ferry times worked well for us because we don't need an overnight stay to or from Portsmouth, also civilised arrival and departure times at Biarritz, with the bonus of an extra 4 days on site. Luckily we don't have the distraction of work to rush back for!

We're all booked with deposit paid too, for the planned dates at the moment while we finalise our plans for the potential 3rd week.

The location and hols look great - and a great compromise in terms of location - as we will be doing the same as The Tallulah Crew and staying on a further week (probably) and making the most of the ferry journey etc.

All booked up - Isn't Jean a Star! - All sorted - and now got something great to look forward to!!!
Probably going to sail back with K&S&O in Tallulah (if they can put up with us!) - on the 15th afternoon sailing from Santander - but we all need to make sure that is okay with work etc - but very likely for us.

Team Tallulah has now updated their booking to stay an extra week, returning on the 15th, as have the Bat crew.

The details have yet to be finalised, but we will be heading into Spain - probably into the mountains - for the last week.

If anyone else would like to extend their stay they are more than welcome to join us.

Can't wait - wish we were there now!

We are going to come back on the 15th August - on the Santander ferry with (I hope and believe) the Tallulah Crew.  

We are probably going to tour on the 8th August and head over the border to Northern Spain and spin along to The 'La Viorna' site at Potes - up in the mountains for a few days and then back down to the coast for the last few days at either (Select Sites place) Santillana del Mar or San Vicente de la Barquera before heading back to the ferry for 3pm on 15th August.

There is the most AMAZING surfing at San Vicente de a Barquera.

We booked one of the Select Sites campsites at Noja last year - an whilst it was okay - it was crammed and really busy - we were just lucky to get a good pitch in the corner of the whole site - but I don't fancy risking it this year.

Whooooo Hooooo - can't wait!

I've got an uncontrollable urge to sit on the jet ski whilst you drive along.

I had a call form Jean yesterday to say that although we are turning up a few days before the main party we are able to pitch up on 'the island' on arrival. - good news !

229 sleeps (except for anyone leaving Blighty a bit earlier...)

Oh what a shame the dog thing is an issue. It would help us, at least... he is tagged, chipped and pinned and loves a time away.

Balance paid. 11 weeks to go. Can't wait.
