Booking's open for next year's Eskdale Dubfest. We're in (going up on Thursday) - who'll be joining us?

Great news, DazDub.

Don't think these dates work for us next year. Pity as Eskdale always has a relaxed feel and good banter. Would recommend to anyone who hasn't been yet.

Can't make it Friday night, so we've booked for Saturday and Sunday.

We are booked. On the Thursday night we are staying in Gosforth just up the road then coming on site on Friday as soon as they will let us in.

I've just had an email to say that the Eskdale site will revert to being a private site as from 25th February, and that we need to call the site on 01946-723253 to transfer our bookings and deposits.

Has anyone transferred their booking? did it go OK?

All done, easy peasy just needed my name, dubfest and the date.

Martyn automatically transferred mine over to their new system - I spoke to him on Monday and he assured me that I didn't need to do any more. He's looking foward to running the site independently from the Camping & Caravan Club.

We're all changed over too. Interesting to hear Eskdale was no longer C&CC, after Martyn had talked about what was involved - including costs - previously.

Moira has joined the Kombi Krew for Eskdale. Any more for any more?

Anyone coming who has kids, preferably a 7 year old girl ? My grand daughter lives near Eskdale and would probably stay one night so wondering if there will be any friends for her. Boys are of if they like makeup.

She has slept in the van a couple of times and really enjoys getting away from her little brother.

I'm pretty sure none of the BraziBay gang will have children with them but there'll be plenty on the site though, I'm sure.

Very soon now. Just need fuel, the water bottle sterilised and the fridge packed, the clothes organised and we are good to go. Going to Gosforth which is nearish to Eskdale on Thursday (daughter no 2 lives there) then on site on Friday as soon as they let us.

We're packing the van tomorrow, got a Board Meeting on Wednesday, then up to Eskdale on Thursday.

The petrol heater is waiting on parts from Germany so I might be popping out later for an electric heater of some kind. It can be cold at night in Cumbria in March!

When is everyone else arriving?

We have a wee oil filled radiator which is ideal.
