| If you've never changed a wheel on your BraziBay, now - in the decent weather - is a good time to practise. Check that you have all the necessary tools: hub cap removing tool, locking wheel nut key if you have alloys, wheel brace and jack. It's a good idea to check all the wheel nuts to ensure they aren't seized before we head out on the open road. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| If your bay has been lowered take a lump of 4" x 4" timber to place under the scissor jack provided or you may find you can't get the height to get your wheel off. I speak from experience, happened to me, luckily I was towing a trailer filled with odds and snds of wood. Happy travels everyone. | |

| Having just spent the last 3 days in bed with a horrendous bout of food poisoning, which I attribute to a plate of dodgy prawns I ate in Portugal on Monday, can I please remind you about getting a European Health Card .... just in case. A friend's daughter just fainted in Spain and it cost her 250 Euros for an ambulance.

| Looks good Tim.
The postcode for Morrisons is: PO1 4QP. I see from their website that they open until 4pm on a Sunday - I wonder if it would be possible to park on their car park from 6.30 onwards?
The postcode for the Shell Victory garage on Kettering Terrace is PO2 7SB. ________________________________________________________________________________ Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder

It would be great if we could all muster on their car park but I see they have a barrier on the entrance - wonder if they seal the car park off after closing? ________________________________________________________________________________ "You can check out any time you like but you can never leave"

| I reckon the proximity to the ferry terminal is why there's a barrier on the car park and why the council charge for parking on the road. However if you need any last minute provisions or a lie down on a bed you don't have to make afterwards it's ideal! ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| Anyone know if Continental EHU's have the same connectors as ours or do we need an adapter? ________________________________________________________________________________ "You can check out any time you like but you can never leave"

| Last year our standard connector worked at the site we used - I do, however, also have a continental one - at £3.99 it seemed worth taking. ________________________________________________________________________________ Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder

| Yes DO GET A 2 pin continental adaptor as La Foret uses these according to the blurb. They rent them if you don't have one but like Abs says £4. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| We stayed at a Yelloh site near Pornic last year and they had standard connectors - La Foret is also Yelloh but seems good advice to take an adapter. ________________________________________________________________________________ Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder

| You could take an adaptor for plugging in at home ie to a 13amp socket and fit it with a Euro 2pin adaptor if you already have one. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| Just a quick thought / seeking of advice; given the time on the campsite I'd obviously like the extra space of an awning but given the projected sunshine, is it going to be too hot for one? Are people taking theirs or doing without?
