If you haven't already done so recently, I suggest you give your leisure battery a nice long charge from the mains - not just by a drive. Leave it plugged in to the 240v for 24hrs.

That's my job for Monday evening Tim although the drive home from Yate took so long yesterday that it's probably got quite a lot of charge already.

Sunny will be plugged in Friday and Saturday

If you get in the Morrison's car park before 5, and so park for free, can you get out again after they shut it? Would hate to get there thinking 'yippee, free parking', only to be stuck there till the next day, with ferry long gone.

I suggest you keep an eye on the barrier and maybe move onto the road at 1650!

I've got a suggestion re spare keys. How about we buddy up with someone and swap spare keys before we board the ferry and for the duration of the holiday? - the chances of anyone losing both sets is then eliminated.

Just a thought. Alternatively, do what Martin Dorey does and wear the spare on a loop round your neck.

That's what I do Abs, except it's my 'surf' key.

Bags packed - well mine is! - boat mended, trailer repaired, Kombi polished!
So - Robin on mains for a couple of days - just to make sure.
We thought Alex (17 yo son) had lost passport - he needed it for his driving theory test or something like that - so major consternation until it turned up! LOL
Had a busy few months at work so really looking forward to a great break in La Belle France.
