I've been using Diamond Brite for the 3 years we've had Tallulah. She has a wash before and after every hire (and adventure) and a wax once a month and maintains her showroom shine.

We took Tallulah to VWKampers in Small Dole nr Brighton today for a full service, a replacement sunroof and her first MOT.

We caught the train into Brighton for breakfast and a wander around Brighton Pavilion (and Toy Museum), arriving back shortly after 3pm to find Tallulah had passed with no advisories, and had had everything else done including a wash.

After a shifty around the workshop - more Brazilians than anything else - we headed back home.

Just one more think to sort and we're all ready for the 2014 season - let the fun commence!!!

We didn't go to the sea front, only saw it from a distance, we've seen enough water over the last 8 weeks we figured we didn't need to see more.

Ordered some new carpets for Arnie's cab area from Newton Commercial in Suffolk. Gonna go pick them up when ready and weather permitting will stay for the weekend. Anyone have any ideas where to go whilst there?

Took Betty our van for her MOT. Passed first time. After 10 years on the road and the horn stopping working 2 days before the test she has not too badly.

4 advisorys. Play in king and link pins on two sides, flexible brake pipes rubbing and anti roll bar clamp loose.

Was expecting much worse and spending the next few days doing work on her but now I can spend a few days relaxing and enjoying driving her!

Took Eddie for his 6 month service at Brand Autos. What a journey there this morning. Floods, road closures, 50 mph winds and fallen trees. Nothing a Kombi can't handle.    

Took a leisurely cruise 'sarf' to Devon to visit a friend. Wetsuits and kayak aboard for a potential visit to the beach tomorrow and just in case the floods return before we head home in a few days!

Tallulah - can we get a wee update on the kayak - was it a good purchase?

We love our kayak and use it whenever we can - we're less than a mile from the Thames and the Kennet & Avon canal - but today we actually used a friends rigid sea kayak as it was a more sensible option with the sea conditions.

Down at Danbury for first service after a lovely day yesterday of picnics and dog walking at a cold and blowy Hindhead Common/Devil's Punch Bowl, but snug as bug in a rug in Morrison though  Not looking forward to journey home but got to be done…..
