Show & Shine categories:
There will be all the usual ones such as Best Split, Bay Bug, Beetle, Rat, T25, T4, T5 and
furthest traveled etc.
There are other possible categories such as
Vehicle that looks most like its owner
Vehicle with the most gadgets
Lowest of the lowered
How the hell did that get an MOT
Grooviest Interior
Most wicked gadgets

(All full weekend tickets include camping)

TRADERS: NO EXTRA CHARGE - you only need to buy a ticket like everyone else and then we ask for a donation for the RNLI (from your massive profits ) - Traders: email finalfling@live.co.uk with details of what you sell and how much space you need.

180 miles from Reading, give or take a few. Tho we've had VDUBs come from Ireland and Scotland in previous years
It's a really great part of the world and a friendly club.

Sounds realy cool, wish we could go, but we are moving house around then. we are hoping to get into the dub-meets more next year.

Only 8 more sleeps to go before the Final Fling.

Hey guys we've just had a FAB weekend in Woolacombe
Left at 7.30am on Friday morning and got back 5.00pm on Sunday afternoon - still tired
We had great weather all while we were away:
Plenty of sun, no rain and not even a dew in the morning's
Mild temperatures - only down to 8 or 9C in Scooby over night (pop top down though)
All this in mid to late October
We stayed at the Hidden Valley campsite - very close to Woolambe and Ilfracome
It was also cheap - only £15 per night for two adults, Scooby and a hook up

We were at Ilfracombe from 11.30am to 4.00pm on Friday
Under the grey skies, we were thinking what have we let ourselves in for?
But it remained dry and mild as we did the tourist things again (only here at Easter)
Saturday morning awoke to blue skies and sunshine
Arrived at the Final Fling around 10.30am
Walked around the stalls and bought some trinkets for Scooby etc.
When we got back to the carpark we saw another BraziBay
It was Dizzylizard - here were are basking in the sun

It was good to meet up with you guys and as we said at the time:
That reg plate has to be the best ever
Your camper also has a great spec and looks really cool
We then looked around the camp site - and you could even vote in the Show n Shine competition
There were only a few in the S n S area - but anyone on the campsite with a number in the window was entered
A good mix of VW's were on display - we would see them again tomorrow after the cruise to Woolacombe
Left the show to head into Woolacombe for a late lunch (were here at Easter also)
Went around the shops - had some Chilli Fudge which was sooooo hot it burnt for 5mins after eating
On the beach, on the rocks and a sunny late afternoon - just perfect - this shot is around 5.15pm

Back to the campsite after this for something to eat and drink and maybe the odd DVD
On Sunday morning we packed up Scooby ready for the trip home
But there would one more trip back to Woolacombe
Around mid-morning would be the Cruise from the Final Fling campsite into Woolacombe
So we had better find somewhere for breakfast
The pic below is where we decided to have breakfast (and lunch as it turned out)
Very comfy, good food and view to ponder over - we like it anyway

The above shot was around 10.00am, the Cruise arrived mid morning
While we were waiting we bought some more Chilli Fudge - a large bar to bring home this time
There was another BraziBay in the car park - it was orange but not anyone we knew
Posted a card under the windscreen - suppose they could be on here?

Thanks Scooby, good to meet you guys too. After we left, we went down to Croyde for a nostalgia trip, I was down there as a 7yr old, (not long after the Lynmouth Flood). Then back to Woolacombe,and onto Parracombe before heading home. I now know how I got my wires crossed, you were on about Hidden Valley, I was on about Heddon Valley!

They do sound very similar Dizzylizard
If only Scooby could speak properly it may have been clearer
