but what are the Numbers of the last 100 aircooled T2c? or a list of the last aircooled where very nice to know, or?
but i like the watercooled too, it is not important. the main thing is T2c :-)

I like the look of this - looks somehow more 'modern'.. maybe the way its been professionally photographed..or just the understated colour with white wheels....

also without the poptop looks much sleeker.

It has curtains in the windows as well  

You could convert that into a camper or something

Its a sign of what will happen with the last of the kombis, prices are going to soar!

I like the logo on the curtain straps.

We're unlikely to see one of these in the UK though I'm told.

Apart from anything else, they're approaching twice as much out of the factory so once shipping and vat have been added to get one over here it'll be £40k+ before adding anything.

That's even assuming any of the 600 being made will actually be 'spare'.

600 units however is somehow massive if you think of the last aircooled ones. The prata model was only built 200 times...

Just read this article in the German 'Bild' newspaper. VW Brazil will now definitely end production with their own special edition limited to 600 T2s. Price will be 27.600 Euros, available only in Brazil.

Check out the awesome paint, seats, and – shock – the MP3 radio with USB input ports   

Interestingly, above the radio is a sticker with '2014' on it, so we may just get into the new year with these last few.

Yesterday i had a phone with a men from Munich.
he said to me (shortform): i want one of those cars from the last edition. could you sell me one of them? i told him, that i dont sell cars. and i told him the brazilian price. and that a car wehn it could come to germany much more expensive is as in brazil.

Want one? £43100 plus £1255 on the road charges is what I've been quoted by Danbury. That's before any conversion other than making it road legal for the UK.

i have a question for the last edition
i search sometimes for a brazilian bay toy for the living room closet. but only i found normal vw T2. the best it is a last edition of toy. have anybody a idea for looking?

Anyone here going to be a proud owner? Other than Danbury? A very select group within the members you'll be!

I wonder if any of the new owners actually plan to use them or whether they have been bought purely for investment purposes. This '63 Splitty recently went up for action in the US. Looks like its never seen a road. I won't tell you how much it sold for. You'll just have to watch.
