I will, but I'd like to hear the direct thoughts of those who have already taken part and who have already been involved with the discussion to date. Whether that be by posting here or by pm to me. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay

| We havent really given it any thought yet but we did talk briefly about a little tour up the country next year, we have family in the north east & friends in Scotland. So a possibility we could combine this with a kombi kaper. It would obviously depend on details, dates & cost. I would prefer to go away a little further into the school hols if poss. | |

| a trip to scotland in the summer would not be the first choice for us. As a family we prefer to spend our main yearly holiday heading south towards the sunshine. The kids would take some convincing! | |

Cool. When you say further into the hols you mean more August rather than late July/August? ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay

Cool. When you say further into the hols you mean more August rather than late July/August? Yes, maybe a week or two into the start of the hols rather than right at the beginning. As we wouldn't be tied to ferry crossings/prices maybe it's a possibility? Wouldn't rule it out just based on dates though

| Yes, after 8/8 would suit us too, it would mean we can attend the family wedding without it interfering.

| I had provisionally booked the same two weeks as this year but am sure I can do later if that's better for the majority.

| I'll need to check school dates - schools in Scotland go back half way through August. We could well drop Jnr off at the school gates on the return! ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

- More votes please?
Sorry Tim but I think the poll is too ambiguous (though I have added a vote), as a lot depends on when the trip is. I for one, whilst would like to go to Scotland at some point, have no desire to take my two girls up there when the midges are biting. I'm also loath to a 2 day slog to a location, knowing I've a similar trip at the end of the hols. Whilst I could possibly manage, there's no way I could keep my girls happy for four days on the move. Likewise, the thought of travel-camp for a bit-travel-arrive is unappealing. Just my thoughts but a mention of Isle-de-Re elsewhere sounds more appealing (for my 2p)

how about adding a France and Spain as one to vote for

how about adding a France and Spain as one to vote for That's a lot of driving daz but I'll add it in to check the interest. The thing that seemed unpopular about heading to Italy was the long distances involved. But let's see what the people think! So there's a new option in there for you to deliberate over please folks. You can hit CANCEL VOTE to have another go as many times as you like. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay
