| Tonight's question from the carfest field - music not so great tonite - waiting for take that!! Things may not improve.
Has anyone got a swivel drivers seat with power steering? If so pros and cons?
I think Danbury said something about if you have power steering it raises the seat anyway and adding a swivel raises it further so not ideal for the taller driver? But it would seem to add another sensible seat for the evening.
Just compiling my Danbury list of jobs to do for December along with a tow hitch! |

| I had a swivel seat and power steering. Yes the seat was higher and at times noticeably so but not impossibly. However to be fair, it was a mod that I needn't have bothered with as I think I turned the seat so few times it would be fair to say it was a waste of money. Also, it was a bit of a faff, as the seatbelt needed unhooking and the chair moving back/forward to clear the steering wheel. Wouldn't recommend. | |

| I don't recall the driver's seat of any Danbury DD/Pas BraziBay being higher than usual, and I've driven a number. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| I had a swivel seat (without PAS) but took it out because I ended up looking out of the wndscreen above the wiper line and when I looked sideways I saw headliner rather than through the window! Plus it was such a faff to swivel it round. I'm not extra tall - 5'9". | |

| It's a good job I haven't got one. I struggle to see out of the windscreen at the best of times. ________________________________________________________________________________ Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder

As long as there's no furniture fitted in the way, then yes. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| Ok. So back to the swivel question.
Does anyone have a drivers seat swivel base they want to sell? A couple of you seem to have removed yours - are they gathering dust in your garage?
I don't want to make same mistake as step. Bought and fitted one (well a man did - not my man) and now Feliz has one to recycle. Sorry |
