Brazi Bay Halloween Bash October 28th to 30th

OK Guys
Here are brief details of the alternative Halloween Weekend and a link to the campsite in Henley on Thames for the two nights 28th and 29th October 2016: Swiss Farm
Please book direct with the campsite if you would like to attend - the more the merrier.

Unfortunately, the campsite do not accept group bookings, so no Brazi Group booking, hence the reason for you to book direct.
Please do not mention group booking in any way and we will not be able to be all pitched up next to each other.

On the Saturday there will possibly be a walk/cycle in to Marlow along the Thames (weather permitting) with a meal on Saturday night back in Henley at the Cau restaurant - here is the link: Cau
A provisional booking has been made at the restaurant for 6 - 8 people at present - will increase or reduce numbers nearer the time.

Although this alternative replaces the Halloween weekend you will not need to dress up!
If you are interested please respond accordingly.

I've increased the CAU table booking to include Keith and Serena and have booked an extra 2 unallocated places so far - keep me in the loop and I'll increase as necessary - altho I suspect they may say 'we're full at some point.

Once Holly is back from her holiday on Thursday we can ask her about her Halloween plans. Hopefully she'll let us out for the evening.
We're not sure if we'll have the van back but happy to look at Hotels near the restaurant should we able to join in.

The reason for the move south stemmed from the fact that of the four vans still attending most of them were from the south so rather than cancel completely we wanted to keep the weekend but hope fully make it easier for the remaining attendees. Including maybe Keith and Julie?

No worries, Als, I just thought that if it was slightly further north more people might have gone to the original one and its replacement.

There used to be quite a few attendees when Halloween was at Anita's.

Maybe a return in 2017 would be worth considering - the real issue was the unpredictable weather.

Weather is always going to be a big issue at the end of October.
The first year the wind actually broke the event shelter on the Friday night.  
This meant we were left with no where to go but the Pub on the Saturday night.
Unfortunately the pub did not allow dogs and so some were forced to stay in their Kombi!  
There were one or two other issues with Anita's which is partly why a new location was sought.
As you will recall, at last year's location we hired a room for both nights - so we were all warm and dry whatever the weather outside.  
With regard to numbers, they have been not been that different over the three years, 10, 13 and 9 respectively.
We are more than happy for someone else to find a new location and organise the event for next year - doo not be afraid - Just Doo It!

Scooby - sorry if you thought I was being critical - I definitely wasn't (I know how hard it is to organise events so all your efforts are much appreciated).
